After studying ‘Material Futures’ at CSM, Rosie started her label by creating garments that have healing proprieties. I had the chance to meet her during London Fashion Week in February 2020 – before everything went in lockdown. London Fashion Week is the place for emerging talents. First of all, it’s where the BFC showroom takes place each season to underline the new generation of designers. Without surprise, I personally think it is the best city on the actual fashion map – only if I consider the western conception of fashion week. Not only the independent labels have a real place to express themselves, but I feel that they face an audience willing to go above the conception of main fashion.
